When The Day Is Long: Hold On

I Go Down To The Sea

Hardly a day goes by when I don't go down to the sea.. Even just a few minutes on my way home from some errand.. It comforts me when hurt.. It laughs with me when happy.. It knows all my secrets ... And sometimes whispers the future in my ear... It has the power to heal...

For anyone out there needing a friend
For Anyone Sad
For Anyone Happy

This post is for you
Go Down To The Sea
...
and breathe
...

Still avoiding garage duties but suspect I will conquer it tomorrow
I think five days consecutive posts is enough for a while

Have a great Friday everyone!!

This is so beautiful Julie! I go down by the beach almost everyday, usually it is just a drive by, but the sight and sound alone comfort me and take me places that are soothing.
It is so nice to know that we have wonderful friends out there to hold our hands whether we are happy or sad. Your images are just stunning!
Hugs to you!

yup, sometimes you're up, sometimes...not up...I really treasure life when it's sailing smoothly.....the sea sure works for me too...but I don't live by it so it's harder....my mind travels there though....and these posts help! enjoy your sea walks...the surf, the gulls, the smells....sigh....

So great to see your beautiful posts Julie..I love this one. I grew up on the sea, have always lived close to the sea...until now. Boy, do I miss it. I can feel the sea sprays and am breathing it all in. Heaven!

Thank you :)

I'll be back to check out your other posts. In the mean time - go to the sea for me. In the middle of the coutnry, I have to content myself with making boats.

Much love Julie :)

For some reason Blogger didn't let me get to your post yesterday. I love this song and I love the photos. And I totally agree with you about the sea. It does have the power to heal.

Oakey dokey...I've caught up on your amazing posts from this week. We need to do coffee. I can come to you and get stuck into your garage inbetween coffee breaks. I love a bit of re-arranging...especially when it's someone elses. Let's bring it. Meredy xo

Oh my! The sight of that pink rose just took my breath away.

Take Meredy up on her offer Julie, that girl is a total Organizational Goddess! She'll have the garage looking ready for the World of Interiors photography team in a blink. MOTH's just like you with the sea, totally & utterly besotted with its magical powers.

Dear heart, you are NOT alone...we all experience pain in some way or another, loneliness, fear and confusion. WE ARE ALL THERE IN SOME FORM....but we are comforted in the silence of the waves of life....the crashes of the sea speak timeless truths and just know that LOVE is the most invisible yet powerful force from eternity to eternity and YOU are a part of it. YOU HAVE A SOUL that is locked into the promise of love.....take comfort dear Julie. Anita
