PINK
.
.
... the colour of the heart chakra...
... the colour of love ...
... the colour of passion ...
... the hidden hue inside a seashell ...
.
.
... just as the seashell protects it's own fragile inner pink ...
... so do we ...
... thinking with our head and not our heart ...
... protecting our inner pink ...
.
.
.

... so my message today for myself is ...
... think with my heart not my head ..
.
.
Have a great weekend

Good timing, Julie!

I am in the process of coming up with 3 different samples of pink for a wall finish (not just paint) and these images have given me an idea.

OK, I'm "in the pink"!

Oh, it has been so lovely around here the last week — with the sea and the lighthouse and now this lovely seashell post with such inspirational prose. I feel rejuvenated just reading it over and over. I needed such after a hectic week and yes my dear friend, I need to think pink.

Hi Julie, nice to meet you. Love the pink shell purse. My daughter bought one from the markets at the Rocks a few years back, it has a tiny fairy inside :) Have a great weekend also. Tamara :)

Beautiful pink... delicate light... dreamy images, Julie. Balancing head & heart is tricky sometimes, isn't it? Sweet, peaceful weekend to you.

If you want to BE Ruby, you BE Ruby, sweetpea! Life is too short to not have a dream and try to live it, chick. But you're darling no matter who you are at the moment!

Ciao, bella. There's a bit of pink on the desk (in exile still) where I've put some pink flowers in a jar...I love all these but that shell-with-clasp is elegant. I will always protect my inner pink...I think it's the key to sanity. (I'm not talking about shutting people out...but you know what I mean, I suspect.)

I had a feeling you liked pink more then you let on and it's a great color match with "ruby".
I have a little shell box like that one but yours is so much prettier all pink and everything.

I was staring at the pic with the flower and then realized it had a shell in the center and maybe it was fabric around it instead...well I think it's fabric.
Just gorgeous photography Julie!!!

I always applaud pink but pink Ruby deserves double applause. That first image has won the 2010 What I'd Most Like To Hang in an Ornate Gilt Frame in my Dressing-Room award.

Julie, what a lovely post and how perfect for me (!) who is diving in the sand dunes in beautiful Oregon and putting shells in my pockets collected by 3 pairs of little hands.

I will be back in full swing mid next week.

Love to you,
