May is supposed to be cold.. and so it was.. although it was also wet and rainy, severe storm warnings .. and .. a little more rain. Three weeks of rain, rain and more rain. No camera to amuse me .. my internet moving at a snails pace... I looked to childlike enthusiasm [read: losing my marbles] to turn those stormy seascapes into calm waters and rainy days into sunshine ..

We sure have cloudy skies but with some sunny breaks here at the moment. I seriously love the little boat sailing on the sea. I think it is one of my favourites.

My niece is on her way to your part of the world as I type this. She is spending 10 days in New Zealand and then to Australia for 4+ weeks with a college group. She left Chicago this morning. I hope she packed a coat and an umbrella!
