Footnote: I'm sure you all know this is a bit of jest, although the Wild Abandon isn't a bad idea. I've given 2009 the flick and decided to take up with his big brother 2010. I hear he's got the goods!!

Gawd have to do again -

What a lovely letter - happy 2010 and big hugs to you - have fun with the fireworks in flashy brightly lit Sydney - I will be in the west of Victoria behind the mountains behind the surf coast - no fireworks, probably only deep foresty silence and hopefully lots of red wine. Notwithstanding its negative effect on my brain. xoxo

Beautiful images and I love your words. We are lacking a tad in that wealth and wild abandon. Always something messing with us.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I had started a blog months back and something happened and one day it wouldn't let me signin. Very annoying! Alas, I had to start a new one. I guess I should post my blog address..........just in case someone other than you wants to read it.
I do enjoy your blog!

Julie - give 2009 a kick in the butt and tell him to bugger off and to take the 'project that stole your life' with him! Grab the silver lining and waltz on in to 2010 where the party is rocking and 'Wild Abandon' is waiting on the edge of his seat for your arrival. As for romance... blogging's much more rewarding ;-) Have a wonderful 2010. And thanks for being a big part of my inspiration! It blew me away when you started following my blog!!! I'm blessed!

Dear Miss JulieRuby,

With great respect...you may have not received wealth, health or wild abandon in the quantities you had desired, however, you gave a wealth of inspiration, a healthy dose of romance and a slice of wild abandon in your photography, perspective and writing through this blog.

I hope that 2010 recognises your 2009 achievements and pays them back ten-fold. Can't wait to see how you record it all. You, my dear friend, have been a highlight of my year. Meredy xo.

My dear friend, Julie,
At least ther is only one more day of 2009 and a whole new world will be opening up for you. You can put the *"^~*** project, that took up so much of your time and energy, behind you now and I'm sure that there is LOADS of wild abandon just around the corner.
Here's to 2010, I say, filled with fun and romance ....hang on a sec, Ange is right, blogging is much more fun !!!!
Lots of love for 2010. XXXX

Very amusing, Jules. Let's hope 2010 is better for everyone than the let's-face-it hideous 2009.

I suppose I could have written the same letter to 2009! However, I think that it all happens when it is meant to and, to me, that just means the timing wasn't right. Yet. For you and for me and for everyone, I know 2010 will be the best year EVER! Just keep on believin'.

Hugs from Coronado,
Tamerie

Wealth and wild abandon can bring you romance, Julie, but it will be your sensitivity, intelligence and wonderful sense of humor that will bring you the true love you very much deserve. :-)

What you did with the Basilica photo on this posting is gorgeous! The crosses on the domes look like magic snowflakes!
