To The Moon Alice

February 2011

[This is a pre-recorded / scheduled post]

If you are reading this.. then I have finally been sucked into the vortex of the 'Bermuda Triangle of Stupid Stuff'... A worm hole in the universe where time and space have no meaning and internet connectivity belongs to an 'Alternate Time Continuum'...

The initial slippage into 'Land of No Normality' commenced shortly after January's Full Moon.. So here's hoping that I am presently wandering the beach front in search of February's Full Moon and making a wish for a speedy return to Normal Land....

With luck on my side... I may even get some shots of tonight's Moon... But for now... Here is one from January ... [perhaps that explains it.. perhaps January's moon is demanding a showing....]

PS Still away visiting friend's ... Hope to be back shortly and visit all you lovely people who make my life happier.. and NORMAL [in a good way!!!]

Have a Wonderful February Full Moon

Julie b

Beauty is born out of those times of our lives where the ABNORMAL stretches us to reach beyond the moon.......you do an exceptional job of reaching and bringing back down STARDUST for us dearest.....missing you! Anita

Gorgeous image, Julie! I just love full moons. But why do they have to keep me awake?
Hugs and love. Can't wait to see that photo you take.

Well, I certainly hope that you were out wandering the beach and that you did find your February Moon, I know that will make for one happy girl!

I went out and looked at the moon last night and thought of you and Julia, but I didn't photograph it until this morning just before dawn. Ahhh…life is good.

Hope you climb out of the "Land of No Normality" soon and that by showing the January Moon, your connectivity issues will be resolved. Life just isn't normal without you here.

XOXOXOXOXO

Maybe one day you'll tell us about the traingle, Julie. Unless you're saving the plot for a novel. The moon is beautiful as ever, but a bit mournful for your absence.

Lovely moon. Dealing with gale force winds and rain here - it finally feels like winter.

Hi Julie,
I hope you're having a great time on your visit and that you're enjoying your time away from the triangle. Beautiful moon! Our moon has been hidden behind storm clouds. Take care! Jennifer:)

Any moon you share with us is bound to be lovely. And even from half a world away, we look up at the same beautiful moon. Hang in there darling! Happy NORMAL times are ahead.

At last the ether has let me load Ruby - yay for technology (not) !
And I'm glad you are on a break, it gives more time to think turkey :) - brain leaking from school preparations etc.
An amazing bright and close full moon here, lost yesterday behind clouds after 75mm of rain over night.
Let me know if you figure out where normal is - it must be a nice place to visit ;)

I didn't realize how difficult it is to photograph the moon. I tried for the first time the other night. My photos were terrible. You have quite a nice photo here. I'm going to do research on how to capture this beauty. Any tips?

I hope you are having a wonderful vacation and I am praying you did not go to New Zealand to visit a friend. Hope you are safe!

Mmm - the Moon Man reckons we have to be careful down there in the Southern Hemisphere. Earthquakes are in the making and full moons help them out. OUCH.
Sill love a full moon who lit my path through the forest when I was alone in the dark

Hope it's lighting your way out of the Bermuda triangle.
