Supper with Suzette

.
.
.

.
.
I thought I'd invite some friends around for supper...
nothing informal, just a small casual gathering
.
.

.
.
There's always plenty to eat
We all gather round and dig in
.
.

.
.
But then out comes the glasses
and things start to get ugly
.
.

.
.
Crystal gets toppled
and someone always ends up in the plonk!
.
.

.
.
I try to stop them but..
They just stand over me
.
.

.
.
I'll show them standover tactics
Time to go home!!

.
.

.
.
I need a good lie down after that lot
Wake me up tomorrow!
.
.

.
.
.
.
Just a bit of silliness I prepared earlier!!
I was trying to prepare a 'normal post' for Silver Sunday but things got a little out of hand. Suzette would not take no for an answer!!
.
Pop over to 'Gypsy Fish blogspot' and see other contributors to Silver Sunday.

[sorry button will go up soon when i figure out how to save it via MAC]

Julie,
You are so fun, so creative! Guess what? I think I have those same little silver chairs...place card holders? When the light of morn comes I will check...in a printer's box on the wall...
I would love to come over for tea...we could play dolls all afternoon!
Clever girl!

I'd like those chairs, please, in full grown-up size. Can I gild my kitchen chairs? Hmmmm. Yearning acquisitiveness by Mise.

Oh Julie,
You'd think that Suzette would have learnt by now that she's not going to have a civilised supper with such unruly guests !!
Those little silver chairs can cetainly cause trouble once they get a drink inside them. You would think that they would be well behaved to look at them. Made of such sterling (hehe) stuff and looking so pretty. It just goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover.
Next time, Suzette, I suggest that you only serve tea !!
I love your little silver chairs, Julie, and your photographs are wonderful. XXXX

Love, love, love the chairs. My son will be thrilled that I am following someone's blog in Australia. He is into all things Australian. He walks around the house speaking in his version of an Australian accent. He just turned 10. He is pretty funny. For Christmas he asked for a Didgeridoo but my husband found a way to make one from something at the hardware store. It actually sounds pretty good, lol!

LOL! What a fabulous post ... I just love your sense of humor and the artful way you composed the tiny chairs and other components to explain your story. I can see you in advertising; I think you would be a genius at that.

Hugs,
