Today I'm linking up with my good friend Rhonda [Shellbelle's Tiki Hut] to post for World Oceans Day. A moment to celebrate what we love about the ocean and how it has a positive impact on our lives.
Truly.. the happiest part of my day is walking beside the ocean and the bay it feeds. It's the best medicine in the world to lift my spirits and it's beauty never ceases to amaze me... so I thought I'd share some of what I love with you. But don't take my word for it.. These guys look pretty happy about it too. 'Red' [as I like to call him] goes for a daily run with his owner around the bay near my home ... and well I think his face says it all... And just in case you can't get to the ocean yourself.. I've blown up one of these images for you.. Take a seat on the rocks as I do.. and looks out to sea and you'll find your worries drifting away.. if only for a moment..
Relaxed? Ok.. now pop over to Rhonda's post [here] to be truly blown away by a creative artist and his gift to the sea... Rhonda is generously hosting a 'Beach Party'.. so you'll find links there to other ocean loving bloggers and their spin on World Oceans Day.
SEA You There
And have a lovely weekend

Is this your dog? May I have his life? a daily walk on the beach, the wind, crashing waves and the seagulls being the only sounds...i am in dream heaven
Your gorgeous photos are inspiring me to visit our lake more.
of course, I don't have the skills you have, but I'm working on it slowly but surely!
Sea ya!
Nice photos!
So cute, that dog! I miss my seaside rocks, the jetty, the gulls, the sandpipers, the dogs, the endless horizon, and the ever-changing day at the Gulf of Mexico. Can't wait to get back there for the cure!
The photos are lovely, Julie! One day I will have you and your camera flown over to do my own little slice of seashore justice.
Julie, I hope that you are having a wonderful week. Lucky you being by the ocean. I was at my sister's beach house several weeks ago and there is nothing like being on the ocean at sunset or sunrise.
I will check out the other blog.
Have a wonderful week.

Oh my dear, sweet friend, you have captured the very essence of the ocean magnificently! When I lived in California there was nothing that soothed my soul more that sitting and watching the waves crash against the rocks. Glorious!
Now here on the Gulf of Mexico, our beach birds bring me such joy. You know this, because I've posted so many photos of them over the last two years.
What I love the most though, is sharing this love with all the like-minded bloggers I've met in those two years. To know so many who care about our ocean and her future, just warms this old beach gal's heart.
Thank you for sharing with us today Julie, I love you so.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
Happy World Oceans Day!
Lovely photos! I joined in, too! Have a wonderful day...our thoughts are on the sea! ♥
There is nothing quite like the ocean for soothing the soul, is there? Gorgeous photos, J!
SO beautiful my friend!! Red is adorable and yep, he looks pretty happy to me! I take a drive every morning to the beach, it starts me out relaxed and with a smile, although some days I need to end the day at the beach just to put that smile back on my face. :) Enjoy your weekend!!!

Absolutely lovely, Julie!.....smiles.
Gorgeous....stunning photos Julie!
They makes me long for the sea...
I would like to walk along that beach with you! :)
Beautiful pictures!!
I love your photos of your sea. Someday I will have a fancier camera to capture our sea close up and crystal clear. Beautiful beautiful!
The ocean is so beautiful and awe-inspiring. I love it. I do not think I could live too far from the sea. I would be homesick for it (or does that make it sea sick? LOL)
Hello Julie, I didn't know it was World Oceans Day...but one look at Red does say it all. I can hear him barking 'Come on in, the water's fine!' in elated dog speak. You captured the perfect moment. Doggy Bliss. Even the sea gull coming in for a landing looks pretty happy. There IS something about the ocean. Beautiful photos.
And for me, those rocks look mighty fine. I'll bring a thermos of coffee and 'SEA You There'! Hope your weekend is wonderful.
Your photography of the ocean is always some of my favorites. There is truly something about the sea that makes me happy,& at peace. Like a pup strolling the surf! How wonderful to celebrate World Oceans Day. Julie I hope all is well. I send you all my best from ole' Texas.
xx oo Deb

Stunning photos - i often wish i lived closer to the ocean - the smell, the sound, the rythm and the endless horizon! Love your doggy here, and the look on his face!
Stunning! I'm so happy that I can see and hear the ocean from my beach getaway suit!!
Julie!!!Maravillosas imágenes cargadas de tu sentir que comparto......adoro el mar, las aguas, ese ir y venir que renueva nuestra mirada... y para mÃ,siempre la naturaleza fortalece el espÃritu.Un beso, Gloria.
You have captured the "feeling" I get the moment I set eyes on the ocean. Absolutely gorgeous photos...
"Red" looks so very happy...He reminds me of my Rowdy when he's in the water. Unfortunately, we have no beach where he can run free. But at least he gets a taste of the sea even when on a leash...
