ART WITH HEART: works by Jennifer Beaudet

Welcome to Monday and the start of a new week AND a ‘hint’ of a giveaway.

Now I know Monday is not the cheeriest of days, so I thought I would brighten yours by sharing with you the wonderful artwork of Jennifer Beaudet.

Fortunately for me, Jennifer left me a comment on my blog some time ago. So as you do, I wandered over to hers to say thank you and properly introduce myself, and to my great delight, this is what I found;

.

‘Kapalua on Maui’

[Oil On Canvas]

.

Well for a Beach Cottage, Blue Loving, Cluster Art Wall dreamer, Jennifer’s blog was a feast for my eyes. It didn’t take me long to run off to her Etsy Shop for a little wishing & window shopping. The painting above ‘Kapalua on Maui’ caught my eye first and lodged itself firmly in the ‘want and need’ zone of my brain.

There is something familiar to me about this painting. Yet, at the same time, something dreamlike also. Maybe it is the wonderful glow of light dancing across the canvas. I can’t help but want to step onto the sand and wander aimlessly to the far end of the beach, searching for shells and driftwood along the way. Or maybe I will just relax awhile in the muted shade of the palms. For me, inspiring art will have the ability to allow your mind to wander and elaborate on the subject and content. The art becomes a story, a story you can enjoy and continue whenever your mood is willing.

Well as you see, I can imagine hanging this little dream on my own wall. In fact I can imagine it so much, that I just bought it!!

If you are feeling a little envious or disappointed right now.. Don’t worry … Jennifer’s shop has other precious wonders to tempt and entertain. Her artworks cover a range of subjects and mediums that you are sure to enjoy, And here are a few tempters to start!
