My French Country Guest Cottage

Maybe I'm Getting Carried Away
.. But really Folks ..

Waking up my first morning at Sharon's 'Our French Country Guest Cottage[I like to call it mine!] felt like waking up in a fairytale!!! Fresh country air..  Beautiful scenery courtesy of Sharon's gorgeous grounds.. and French country charm in every corner of Sharon's 'perfect little cottage' felt a million miles away from the high density living I'd left behind in Sydney... Jet lag never felt so good...

Of course a 12 hour sleep didn't hurt either.. Sharon probably thought I'd sunk into a coma by the time I finally roused from slumber, but the 7 hour time difference and 22 hours of flying in 3 days had taken it's toll... Waking up in Normandy was just what the doctor ordered.. In fact I think I'll be giving my doctor Sharon's address for his own next getaway..

Now I know many of you have been waiting patiently for me to visit.. However, some of you have also been waiting 'impatiently' to see these shots.. The shots win!! So here are just a few of my many many shots from my stay at Sharon's Guest Cottage. There will be more to come along with the gardens, the valley and of course Brocanting with Sharon in [as Sharon would say] 'deepest Normandy'... and a bit of rabbiting on about how perfect it all was and how gracious and charming Sharon and her family are. I truly could not have chosen a better or more beautiful place to relax and recharge my batteries before embarking on a hectic five weeks traipsing around France and Italy.

.. The shots may be mine ..
... But the beauty is all the handiwork of the clever clever Sharon ...

Thank You Sharon
For creating a little piece of heaven and sharing it with us all
Pop over and say Hi to Sharon [My French Country Home] for more French flair

Next
Of course I will be putting up a lot more post of my week in Normandy before moving on to the Paris
.. so stayed tuned ..

Too funny .... yes, I thought I somehow had claims on these digs! I also felt so rejuvenated from Sharon's wonderful hospitality after 24hours of travel from Australia. Love the details you have captured!
