Here's Hoping The Bride Wears Blue
As luck would have it my television finally gave up the ghost.. Well colour that is.. I have a lovely black & white screen with a hint of blue.. So here's hoping black blue and white are the colours of the day. If not I'm sure I'll see plenty of posts tomorrow to fill me in on the real deal.
Giveaway Update
In the spirit of the day.. or at least my telly's day.. I've included another print choice in my giveaway options.. Rainy Day in Sydney.. Conveniently in black, blues and a touch of beige.. [OK breaking the rules.. my telly doesn't have beige] If you haven't already entered.. My giveaway post can be found [here]
Have fun all you Royal Wedding Watchers

I'll be watching...have just put the champers on ice!
Oh, very beautiful - both photos! I guess I love black & white & blue. I love old black & white films, so black & white TV would be interesting. Add blue and it's unique! Actually watching THE WEDDING like this will be seeing something in real time with nostalgic history already present.
beautiful photos..love the blues and greys and your effects!!
cheryl x have a great weekend.
I feel so bad for you...I am up right now at 2:00 a.m. so as not to miss the big event. Hop on a plane! Well, you would have to settle for reruns anyway!
Good luck with the TV.
XO,
Jane

It'll look garish and modern on our TVs and beautifully elegant and sombre on yours. I love the pretty blue cardie and rainy Sydney.
Julie, I just saw your sweet comment - thank you. And I just found out YouTube is streaming THE WEDDING live right now - so if you want to see it in full color! go to YouTube & click on THE WEDDING banner!

Hey Julie, we had a television that became black and white with a hint of green. What amazed me was how long we put up with it, but we sort of got used to it ha. Loved your post on your beautiful Mum. Sorry I haven't commented but where does the time go sometimes. Enjoy the weekend, cheers katherine

Oh GORGEOUS ONE! You had no color on your TV? I am so glad you were finally able to see the colors of magic as we all saw the wedding! I didn't think I would be able to see it, but before I had to run off to work, I was able to catch LIVE the whole wedding. I too wasn't up to date on all the happenings, but when I saw the boys, I WEPT TOO!!!! How the prince looks like his beautiful mum and you could just see their HUMANITY....so young, so promising. May they live in LOVE always...thank you for visiting dearest! Anita
HAVE A PERFECT DAY!
Don't you hate it when that happens. Beauitful images.
Don't worry Julie, we will be seeing it all for the next month. I slept through the wedding.
I have seen enough of it, that I saw the queen snub Camella 2 times, HoHOho.
Good luck on the giveaway. Big hug sweetie.

oh, my wedding day watch was a blast! So uplifting, color, and eloquent...loved the Abbey service to death...such gorgeous singing!!!!
Hello dear Julie. I watched yesterday (& had to go to bed by 8pm...was so tired. Little Julie was passed out before me:)
Sorry about the teevee machine. Technology does seem to be letting you down lately.
I put buttons on both blogs. I love the palm tree too but it's a bit cool here, so I'm not in the mood right now. If it heats up before May 6, I'll switch them around. The buttons are really pretty.
I kept thinking of that wedding dress all day. Saw it off my phone this morning and couldn't get it out of my head....funny huh? Love the simplicity of it......and all that tuile!!!! gorgeous.
hugs,
Carole
