Once again it's time for Silver Sunday .. Time to dust off the silver and play photo-stylist with my silver goodies... Today I thought I add a little lavender.. stolen during my walks along the beachfront.. Don't tell anyone!!!!! It almost midnight here.. so no time for prose... other than a big thanks to our host Beth of Gypsy Fish Journal.
.
Take care everyone and I hope your coming week is filled with happy surprises
... and thanks for the lovely comments on my vintage inspired postcards..
.
.
PS. As I've gone a bit arty with these shots.. For those that missed it..

Silver and lavender work really well together with your soft touch. You have such a way of balancing colour and lightness; I'm often sure I like your shots even in the second before I've figured out what they are.
I love that combination of the lavender and silver....As usual, your photographs are stunning...how is it that you can make everything seem spectacular? Have a wonderful day my talented friend! :)
Dear Julie, the combination of lavender and silver is perfect!
HAve a wonderful new week,
Yvonne
The soft focus palm and lavender sets such a mood for this post...it is all so ethereal and magical....love the silver Sundays....may have to start gathering up the silver too......
Purple passion ..I am just thinking of music that would sit with your wonderful composition. Beautiful Julie :))

What a gorgeous series... I miss your prose, but these pretty images speak for you. Quietly romantic... how pretty they'd be on dimly lit dining room walls.
Such lovely photos. Happy Silver Sunday!

Cheryl
How do you do that?

This is the best way to show off ones silver....with beautiful lavender and brunfelsia.
Aren't you impressed I knew that flower? lol
George remembered the name....all I could remember is that the variety we carried was yesterday, today and tomorrow....isn't that a great name?
They must be flowering like crazy around you now. If I remember right they have a great scent.
Just gorgeous photography Julie....you've outdone yourself.
Now stop stalking your neighbors plants at night and get some sleep.

I missed your postcards!!! I can't believe it. Better race back and see. LOVE the lavendar. Much prefer to travel to see you in Aussie for lavender than to travel to the PiLs in Provence ;-) Très beau ma chère!!

So, soooo beautiful. You have such a talent! A-M xx
These images are great. I enjoyed the artiness!
You can go as arty as you like as far as I'm concerned!!! Photo-stylist, you are! These photos are absolutely splended...the most charming part is that it's all so miniaturized...a small world I never see with my little automatic camera...o, that I had a desire for the technology and learning all that stuff...but, alas, I don't have the patience you do!!! So glad I can come here and witness your picture miracles. :) xxooxoxoxoxo

These are gorgeous as usual. (I'm a flower thief, too, so I say, eh. It's not like we root around in people's personal gardens. She said...)
Thing that I thought when I saw this was also that lavender roses are often called sterling or silver roses...& that these colors are perfect together. I agree with those above..the pops of purple against silver are stunning. Very painterly photographs, Julie. xo
my first time on your blog, and I love it.
What a wonderful combination, lavender and silver.
You are one talented lady. Your photography is stunning.
Went back a little further in your blogs and I love the simple way you slipcovered your chairs.
Love the light bulbs too. Such a simple object can be so pretty, light and airy. Kudos!
Thank you for the very nice comment on my blog,
