White Wednesday
.
.

.
Hi everyone!!! Another rainy day here in Sydney... Spring has lost it's 'sprung'... More a drizzly bipolar season nervous to make an appearance.. So to brighten things up .. I thought I'd show you a few pretties ... a little vignette of whites.. My chippy enamel coffee pot, a white gauze sachet and some white crocheted doilies [although I don't think you can see them] .. Also in the mix is a little framed silk print I recently found at goodwill ... a bargain at $2.

Another goodwill bargain was this glass vase.. At first overlooked.. but after thinking of it all night I went back the next day to rescue him... Here he is with Little Miss Lavender Sprig who should have been in my previous post .. but defiantly refused to get in the vase with her lavender cousins ..
.
Quite the Prima Donna!!!

.
.
... Sorry just a quick post today ...
.

Thanks to our White Wednesday host the lovely Kathleen of Faded Charm.
Pop over there for some more pretties from other White Wednesday participants..

.
.
.
And thanks everyone for your lovely comments on my Lavender post
... I'm feeling the Love!! ...

Buongiorno! The frame is sure a bargain, love it.
I have the same lavender and as soon as I cut it it doesn't look that pretty in a vase, it sure smells good when I walk by. Buon Mercoledi Bianco Ciao Rita mammabellarte

You have the white stuff!

You have luck. If I left something I saw it wouldn't be there the next day. I like it with the lavender sprig.

I wish I had the little framed print but I wish I had the rain more.
It has been nearly 7 months without rain in my area of town. At least it has cooled down but we desperately need the rain.

Happy White Wednesday!

Dear Julie,
Such pretty treasures and such bargains. They all go so well together and make such lovely photographs. A beautiful collection.
It's a bit of a shame that Spring is a bit of a wet squib so far. I hope that it dries up soon for you.
Hope that you are well Julie and are settling in to your new home. XXXX

I really like your comments about Spring here in Australia- it definitely has lost its spring!
Still in winter PJ's with flannelette sheets on the bed- though I have removed one quilt.

I'm a chippy white enamel fan too. Fabulous! fabulous!
Well done Miss Julie! You have just landed yourself some more chippy crap from France thanks to Libellule who shouted out your number. Who needs a random number generator when you've got kids?!!

Well yes it has an almost tropical feel to it as the storms roll over the mountains and down into Sydney.. Cannot complain.. each storm = less fire risk for us :o)

You're a supreme stylist, Julie - if you had your own thrift shop you'd turn it into a roaring emporium in weeks.

Great way to brighten the day. Love the enamel pot......I saw a huge enamel coffee pot at a thrift store today for $32 and thought wow.. and this is in a thrift store! Great little box next to all the goodies...you didn't mention that one. I'm quite taken will the dreamy effect you've achieved. Chalk this one up with all your other winning photography.
Hey and don't apologize for the quick post...looks like that's the type I'll be doing soon:))

Julie - stylist extraordinaire! I can see you hanging out your shingle right now. That enamel jug is gorgeous and your photos, as usual, are the reason why I find some home mags disappointing these days....I'd much prefer to look at your images which have heart and soul. Hope you're battoning down the hatches on this wild and woolly Friday night. Meredy xo.

Hi Julie, your images are just so lovely, feminine, and nostalgic. Hard to imagine that you all are heading into spring and we head into fall. Both such beautiful seasons. LOVE your vignette, thanks for the inspiration.
