Changing My Perspective

sometimes

small changes

can change your perspective

but
sometimes

you need to change the entire view

I've really missed photoshop these past few weeks.. the ability to take an image and make subtle changes to highlight different aspects of a view.. Suddenly things that were previously not visible, take centre stage and the entire perspective alters.  In life.. this is called a paradigm shift.. and I think I'm needing myself one of those right now.

I'm feeling the need for change..
Perhaps a few months in Europe might do the trick
What do you think guys?

Should I ?

... and ... Smile ... Smile  ... Smile'

a holiday is as good as a change !
if not it sure will give you an inspiring space to think where to go next (life or road).

I know so little of you, but I can tell you need perhaps to be by the sea?..You mention Europe. For those in Europe there is no such thing. I am in Europe cause every country is different. I guess the perspective is entirely different if you are in Australia or USA. I was thinking about writing on changing directions especially when you are stuck into something that does not work for you.

Woman, if you have the means, GO FOR IT!!! Europe will help make that shift! I spent 3 months in France alone and did it give me a whole different view! YOUR PHOTOS ARE UNBELIEVABLE. I NEED YOUR PHOTO PROGRAM!!!

MUCH love to you Julie dear....you will survive dearest...we ALL have to make a paradigm shift at least one or even twice in our lives....I don't know anyone brave enough however, who makes them MORE OFTEN! Take one step at a time....love to you, Anita

Now I know you know what my answer will be — a BIG definitive GO!

Here's a reminder of that quote on my blog, ""Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead let life live through you. And do not worry that life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side that you are used to is better than the one to come?"

Jump headlong into change and enjoy the ride! A change of perspective and a change of view is a good thing.

Want me to help you pack?

Hugs

Ah yes. But I wish you'd consider after that, a hop across the pond to the States. At least East Coast. Little Julie says you can sleep w/her on the sofa. :)

It truly is that time of year, I call it The In-Betweens, I did a post on the subject, because so many feel this way this time of year. I am even writing about what I discovered after doing a little self examining on tomorrows post. The first image you posted made me take pause and just stare and dream. I love the ocean. Fun seeing all the different perspectives. KS

I say if you able...go for it! I think change is almost always good. I have needed change for some time, but we are trapped by my husband's job and therefore our changes have to be fleeting moments. You love travel, you love to learn...you only live once my friend!

These photos are beautiful. I caught myself going and back and forth to see if it was the same shot.

Be happy!

Hi Julie! Your images are beautiful and the changes in each picture really make you see a whole new picture. You know, I think that if your soul is calling you to Europe and you are able to go, go for it! There is nothing like a new view on things to reconnect and look at your view in a new way! :)

If I could spend a few months in Europe, I'd meet you there! Hmmm- keep us informed- that sounds like a darn good idea!

FYI- be sure to go to the Netherlands for their l-o-n-g beaches.

Pack up those troubles of yours in your old kit bag then while you're sailing over those beautiful blue oceans to Europe - chuck 'em over board. Best change of perspective you'll ever get :)

St Augustine said it best when he told us

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."

Open the book Julie and a new tale will no doubt unfold.
