Angels at Christmas Time
Another Angel for Christmas! This is my fourth Angel of the ten that live upon the Ponte sant'Angelo in Roma [others here]. This little fellow is aptly named 'Angel with Lance'... So inventive those Romans...
I hope you are all having a lovely lead up to Christmas.. It is the silly season.. So remember to be safe as you scurry around helping Santa in his tasks... I'll send one of my Angels to watch over you!

Julie, I know you love Rome!!! You would have to...every one of your images is perfection. You are making us all love Rome, missy! I wish I was there right now.

Merry Christmas Julie! I love you angels! And thank you for sending one my way, I can really use the help!:) Have a wonderful Christmas! Jenniferxx
The graphic treatment of your photos so wonderfully accents the soft flow of the angel's draped garments. How do they make stone look like flowing cloth in the first place?! Angels we have heard...or at least seen...on high!
Wishing you a splendid Yuletide full of glad tidings, good company and all of your favourite treats.
I love Rome too. Is that the bridge
going to St something or other?
It looks like a round fort.
There are so many wonderful statues, like the Trevi Fountian, it is truly a wonder city.
It has been a real rush this year so much to do. The damn DRs. take up most of my time. My hip is no better I am now in Therapy, not for the head, but the hip.
Did you see Renee's new blog the Trade? Visit her it will pep her up..Merry Christmas. Love yvonne

Now what the heck is an angel doing with a lance! It must get a little awkward when doing the angel dance. Hope your holiday has been merry and nice. I am feeling much better now, (other than being bushed by winter!)and am glad to be making the rounds again. I missed everybody but it was very good to take a break.....as always....loving your art! best, Susan
