Positano: Aqua Fro Fro

Aqua Fro Fro

That's what I like to call the pretty aqua sea froth caused by the jet boat engines as I travelled from Positano to Capri.. .. Better effects than photoshop I say! .. In fact all these images are 'as is' with the exception of the sky of course.  Positano actually doesn't have lettered signs floating in the sky!! Funny about that!! .. Although in  it's not unusual to see a pink sky at night!!

We've had a few pink skies here in Sydney this week... Monday's temps were over 38c!!!! [that would be 100 for you Fahrenheit Folk]. Normal temps for us in January or Feb, but November?  This one day heatwave of ours was just a tad early and got me thinking about how much nicer 38c is when you are on a boat on the Mediterranean!! What do you think?

Wish You Were Here?
Me Too!!!

Have A Great Week All

Sorry I'm so slow to visit everyone lately
Just the way it is sometimes!!

Oh how you have swept me away with the tide! I NEED THIS ESCAPE RIGHT ABOUT NOW!!!!!!!

There is nothing like the sea, and there is no one like YOU who captures the Italian waters so deliciously! Anita

Julie, you are so talented! Those images are so evocative and beautiful... a welcome relief from all this hot weather we've been having and yes, i agree, 38 degrees would be a whole lot nicer in Positano!

Red sky's in the morning, Sailors

Julie-
These images take on their own personality! Love the day the light is dancing off of the water, and the sandbar meets the deep.
Have a great Wednesday.

What a special place! Was Positano one of the places seen in Under The Tuscan Sun? Love that movie! The water looks divine!

Stay cool if you can! It is cold here!

Well you know that any "aqua" shots make me happy. I like to just close my eyes for a second and pretend I can hear the water sounds. Love these! I don't envy the 100 degrees, but they mentioned snow flurries for tonight here and I don't want that either.

Hi, beautiful photos! Yes, Positano was in Under the Tuscan Sun and a few other films too. The colour of the sea changes here day by day, in winter it can be incredible!

I tried commenting on this lovely post on Facebook, Julie, but I just can't get the hang of it...I don't think it went through.

Anyway, what I was trying to say was that this post made me feel as if I were bobbing about in a little boat...floating away on this gorgeous sea...a wonderful antidote for this bathroom makeover experience I'm having!
