Leaving Paradise [not quite]

.
.

Well I am neither leaving nor going to paradise..
.
But I did find a new home!!!
.
.

Oh my.. I cannot tell you how relieved I am... I have to tell you though it took all my will power not to accept an apartment I saw that had water views every window... beautiful white white space and hardwood floors.. but.. it was tiny.... so tiny I would need to store my furniture.. but also.. it was overly expensive and up four flights of stairs... willpower wasn't such a problem when visualizing a move up four flights of stairs.. huh!
.
What I did find was a small villa with a little yard... nothing flash.. but... reasonably priced.. and my own little garden!!! woo hoo!!! I feel amazingly lucky to have been the successful applicant.. It was the first place I saw and there were a dozen other applicants.. so really ... luck was on my side.. that.. and all those positives vibes you guys sent out into the universe for me!!!
.
...So soon .. I will be in my new little villa...
.
'Villa Ruby' ??
.
.

Hopefully my next move will be into my own home.. sometime in the not too distant future I hope.. So I will keep dreaming of those sea views... Meanwhile I'm putting together some more greek island photos for your viewing pleasure
.
.
Thank You once again everyone for you well wishes ...
... You are the best!!!
.
.
.

have a great Sunday!!

Yes I think it is a good idea not to be seduced by those water views. They charge an arm and a leg for them don't they. Exciting about the little garden - you can grow herbs, the perfect climate for it. xoxo

Oh Julie,
It sounds perfect. How wonderful for you to have a little space to sit in, outside. I think that this villa is definitely meant to be and you will have so much more space. I'm so pleased for you. I think that space is much more important than decoration, don't you ? I know that you are going to be really happy there. Try to take it slowly when you move and get as many people as you can to help you. XXXX

I am so pleased you found somewhere - it sounds like the new place will be great. And your own garden! No matter the size, that will be your little patch of the world. And just imagine how awful it would be to carry groceries up four flights of stairs!

I am so glad that it worked out for you and in record time too! I know you'll make your new space fabulous - you have such an artistic eye it will definitely be homey and chic!( And NOW I have talked myself into coming for a visit! lol! No worries though, you are safe - I am entirely too far away.) Good luck with the move. I love that peak of the water in the photo - a great shot!

Julie, Villa Ruby sounds adorable and I know you will make it beautiful and so lucky getting a garden space, no matter if it's small you will be able to turn it into a haven. Your own home won't be far off, just keep going with your art and your sea views will become a reality.
