The Good The Bad & The Ugly

What to do when you can’t get a shot of the moon? Get a shot of the moonlight! Well there is a Full Moon in there. You’ll just have to trust me on that! [he he]. The Good News is the project implementation is over!! Woo Hoo!! The bad news is I still have to work a few more weeks before I can take a break [read: run for my life!]. And the Ugly? How I feel after the last few weeks! Gratefully I’ll be back blogging full strength soon! Thanks again to all you wonderful bloggers who kept me motivated with your kind comments and support.

Now, the last Full Moon for the year proved to be elusive. So what to do? Make the best of what you have. All the above are variations of the 1st image.

Ciao Julie

MOON NOTES: The moon was full 17:32 Wednesday 2 December. The December moon is called the Oak Moon, The Cold Moon or The Moon Before Yule [I like that one!]. Happy Moon Before Yule!!! The Full Moon this month is in Gemini - That explains a lot!!

It would seem that our moon before Yule was last night then. A moon so big and round it lit up the entire countryside... magical. Pleased to see your out of the woods... keep your eyes peeled - No Souci!

Hi Julie!

I was driving home last night and didn't have my camera with me - glad you were able to capture the light from The Moon Before Yule - lovely! The moon has been incredible the last two nights! :)

Laughed when I read about the good, the bad, and the ugly - been there, barely survived that!

Take care,
Zuzu

I really love the first shot...before alterations this time. It is so gorgeous and looks like a cold winter night...even though I know it isn't cold there!

I like how it goes from being an intriguing image of the exterior of lit lives to being almost abstract.

...or the Cold, Christmas Moon (for those who celebrate)...xoxo to you Julie. Rushing, too. I carry the pink bag everywhere but haven't been able to post on it yet. Want to direct folks to Armchair Trader...pls forgive. Everyone go there! That's a bossy American order (sorry)...

It's a beautiful photograph, Julie even though there's only one. I'm suprised that you can manage anything, after the gruelling workload that you've had to do. That full moon is obviously playing hide and seek and is peeping round that cloud. I love the 2nd image. I can definitely see a face in it. OOoooooo, spooky. So pleased that the main event is over and hopefully, you can relax a little and start to get into the Christmas spirit. XXXX

Absolutely gorgeous Miss R. I love these images. I got up this morning to a beautiful moon at 4am.....couldn't sleep and just as well... it was magical and I would have missed it if I hadn't crawled out of bed that time! You're almost there... keep the holidays in sight! A-M xx

Hi Julie,
Here the full moon is said to be responsible (by the weather people) for some flooding that will (or will not) happen later tonight..., along with some heavy wind and rain. Love the first image..., is it the building you live in!?

Lovely images as always. Every month the same thing happens to me, I think gee the driving is really bad at the moment and then I look up in the sky and there it is, a full moon and I think HA that explains it. It makes people crazy doesn't it? Don't work too hard...

So glad you're nearing the end of the insanity! It must have a great sense of accomplishment which is always a nice feeling.
The moon was so huge the other night. It wasn't even that dark out and you could see it so clear....I of course thought... there's Julie's moon. Had darn customers in the store so I couldn't take a picture of it!:)) lol
Hey you can lock yourself in my shop anytime....the cats would love the company!
xox,
Carole

Moon shot... Gorgeous!

But that was not the last Full Moon for '09. There's a Blue Full Moon on the 31st I think it is! New Year's Eve and a Full Blue Moon. Eeeek! Happily, we never go out on New Year's Eve. :-)
